Not an Express parent, however a good friend son on team and he said they are at 27 players to date. I guess you will see at the Coloumbus tournament they are supposedly playing in it.
That seems reasonable given they have a few players that cannot compete in the WSYL due to age ineligibility and they want to field at least 24 kids for that event. 27 is large but not wholly unreasonable given the potential for injuries.
Its a lot of kids when only 14 of them will play, there will be a lot of unhappy kids/parents. The will all complain but they will keep coming back for more.
AJ has a very good track record of playing all kids equitably. This may not be the case for the big games but he compensates for this and, over time, all kids get enough playing time. How do you know he will only play 14 kids?
