Sometimes yes sometimes no. They are somewhat of a hybrid team. When they are at full strength with they Honey Badgers they could be considered an A team. But when tournaments conflict not so much.
You are referring to the wrong team. S2S is different from South Shore Thunder which pulls kids from Express Haugen.
South Shore Thunder does not pull kids from Express Haugen. They are a total separate team put together from Merrick, Bellmore and Wantagh. They are all good friends and they enter in around 3 tournaments. The kids all play on separate club teams Haugen, Trueblue, Recon, Igloo and maybe a few others. They play together when they can all for fun.
