The boy you are trying to degrade is 12 years old (fact) clearly Not the age of an 8th grader which I'm sure you are aware of although it's easier to just say stuff. He is in 6th grade would of been very young in Kindergarten and parents elected to start him following year. Yes he plays up and always has which is why when he plays near his actual age people spew nonsense because of the talent level. I will be transparent that I once shared your view point on this but did something different and got the facts and got this first hand . This should help enlighten you. I'm not putting the kid down. He is a great player with more support than most recieved to ensure his success. Soo... he should really be in 7th. When he plays on an 8th grade team, that's playing up. And to be commended. I still don't agree with a 7th grade age kid playing on a 5th, or 6th grade team. That would be an unfair advantage. This is clearly not the only case of this happening. Plenty of people playing the system! Age based is what needs to happen in youth lacrosse.
