I'm not putting the kid down. He is a great player with more support than most recieved to ensure his success. Soo... he should really be in 7th. When he plays on an 8th grade team, that's playing up. And to be commended. I still don't agree with a 7th grade age kid playing on a 5th, or 6th grade team. That would be an unfair advantage. This is clearly not the only case of this happening. Plenty of people playing the system! Age based is what needs to happen in youth lacrosse.
