I spoke to an Edge dad and he said in Canada it is age only not grade. edge is a good team but not a top ten. Crabs were big but played soft the total opposite of Icon. That is the biggest reason Icon won they out worked Crabs and Eclipse.
The Edge program registers all of their teams down a year, its the program policy. They claim all of the players will be doing a PG year. Its a BS policy but again, its up to tournament directors to accept the teams registration.
