Does it even matter if they still lost? The fly ins didn’t allow them to beat crabs whose defense and goalies haven’t been allowing many goals so far this season.
No surprises today… everything pretty much according to predictions. Madlax played Crabs a bit closer than expected, FCA won the “tossup” game by 3, DCE recovered to beat Team 91 easily, and the Hawks rolled Team Money. Apparently Team Money must not have brought a bunch of Freedom kids, they’re getting waxed

Team Money is a great group of kids on their own, and the 6-7 or so truly elite players from the squad are pretty special and well known. Enough to beat any team in AA (as they did last year in tournaments) and probably beat the brakes off of the AAA "why are you even here" teams like FCA White, Cannons and ProSlash.
With another 6-8 kids from Freedom it was enough for Money to cruise through AAA last year, even. But they'd need another half dozen difference makers (a full second line) to win Hoco elite games. I don't think they'd beat anybody except 91 with last year's Freedom players.
