FCA White vs. Bethesda would be a fun game to watch.
How are there so many FCA kids? On Predators 28 it seemed like a 1/3 of the kids had FCA helmets. And then they have full Blue and White teams. How is it that FCA Blue isn’t better if there are so many kids in the program?
Fundamentally, each FCA roster rides at 24-28 kids. Usually 25 during HoCo, for each Blue & White.
If FCA lost 8 white and 1 blue to Predators (guessing), FCA still has minimum 42 rostered players. Add in the boys FCA picked up from KP, Hawks, Crabs and they are back up at 50+ 2028 players.
The two team model is a heck of an insurance policy against these mass defections.
24-28 kids is a tone. If you are one of the bottom 7-8 kids on those teams you are playing less than a quarter a game or not playing just to say you play elite lacrosse. My advice would be if your kid wants to play and get reps, find a team they can start or be second string. They will probably develop much better as long as they have great coaching.
