I'm sorry your guy didn't make the team. It takes a lot of guts for these kids to try out for an elite team. And it isn't easy to tell them they didn't make the cut this time.
Please be careful as you pump up little Paul Rabil because the kids know who is on the team because they belong and who is on it because of who they are. The kids also know who of their grade wasn't there. Give them credit and be honest with them about what this is and what their talent level is, they will appreciate it later on.
