Either way, your team is dropping like a stone. Prepare to abandon ship!

Yes!! Blast should abandon ship! Great team, amazing kids and strong friendships-Run for the hills!!!!! That suggestion is what is wrong with travel lacrosse today. If the Blastards are smart, they will stick together and make the minor changes needed to perform better. Oh, and maybe fly in some help.

Maybe a new goalie would be a good start!! Not many
out there so they better start looking.

Goalie dad is a jerk. No one disputes that. But the kid is one of the top 3 players on the team. The other two are the faceoff kid and WI middie (another terrible parent). If you think that the goalie isn't good enough, you need to start looking at the quality of other goalies on the grade level. She's one of the top, if not the top goalie. No doubt about it.

Realistically, Blast is still a very good team; however, there are a few players who are carrying them to a degree. It seems to me that they just lack depth. Aside from the aforementioned mids, the rest are role players. Not bad players at all, but not playmakers. They need more aggressive players at the position so they can rotate more efficiently without taking as much of a step down offensively and defensively.

Their attack is good, but devoid of any standout. And at 4th grade, that's fine! They could use a power dodger or shooter on one side to make defenses nervous. Defense lacks speed, in general, though overall, pretty solid.

The Blast parents have unrealistic expectations. They think they should win every game. Those days are gone, as they should be. A few tweaks and they have potential to remain very good. Even now, they could probably win 90% of their games, but that's just not good enough for the parents.

I am a BLAST parent and she is definitely not showing her top level goalie skills, actually she has gotten worse! Much better goalie's out there, time to move on to girls lacrosse! Nobody want's to share the cage with her.

I !! CAN ! use exclamation points too !!!! Loser !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
