I've seen many "Dad" coaches that were a million times better than the paid x-college player because they understand young kids, promoted good sportsmanship and most importantly weren't on anyone's payroll. It's lacrosse, at a very basic level, hopefully you have a coach that's a role model first and has adequate knowledge of the sport.



it's all part and parcel to the "elitist" lacrosse crowd - in their mind, EVERYTHING below the so called top three or four club programs are worthless, and might as well not exist. The ironic thing is their myopic view of the game would actually kill it for even the top teams, because in the end, you need players at all levels and in numbers to actually cull the best from. The best players weren't born the best - they developed, and, in many cases, through repetition playing against all of the other kids. It is the stupidest POV ever.
