Your not going to have a division for every numerical age in youth lacrosse! There would be 10 age groups vs. 5. Refs, coaches, fields, etc.; you just can't double the amount of teams overnight (with same amount of kids) and expect the support and resources to double, and be able to field full teams at practice! Youth sports prepare you for HS sports, hence one year you are older, one year you are younger as you alternate through the system (U9, U11, U13, etc).

For club, grad year is only way to go. You are not going to build club teams through youth levels, then shake up the teams that dramatically by changing the format at HS levels. Just doesn't make sense and not going to happen.
