Maryland public cutoff is Sept. 1. Averages say that 1/3 of on age kids for class of 2022 are born Sept. 1 - Dec. 31, 2003. These are not hold backs, these are age appropriate 7th graders who did not have the option to start school earlier according to the rules in MD.
