Until rules are changed this is the landscape are boys play in if they want to be the best. Crying about it does nothing for anyone especially the players. Preparing for high school lax and a high level against other top players is ok with me. 1 year makes no difference and will not be an excuse in this house.
Pull your kid out and go play in the rec league so he will be a stud . Good luck in high school.
Of course it makes no difference. You buy into the grade based playing system of having select kids play down. Not sure how having select kids play down in 2025 grade makes everyone else in 2025 tough for HS. Keep telling yourself that.
