The validity of any "National Championship" is based solely on the strength of the teams participating. Many of the tournaments proclaiming World or National Champions are jokes when 12 of the 16 teams involved are slightly better than rec programs. The teams and parents just use the Tournament as a way to vacation in Colorado or Florida.

Ty hasn't attended any events for anything younger than 2020. Next season, he will start to look at 2021s. There are two years to go until he starts looking at 2022s.
Ty also just retweeted Mark Dixon's comments saying National/World Championship tournaments are too much for 12-13 year olds - so I doubt Ty is shouting out about anything for 2022s.
