You contradict yourself and make no sense. A running hit from 6-10 feet which you label excessive is not legal so the term excessive has no meaning. Then you refer to hard and somewhat cheap shot. A cheap shot by definition would not be legal. Lose the hyperbole. A body check is legal or it is not. Seems you prefer to eliminate body checks. You prefer lacrosse played as basketball. So remove the equipment and the contact.
