I do, our team is below 500 but my daughter has 150 points (she's in newsday), Isn't personal accolades and getting recruited what lacrosse is all about?
Ha! Hilarious! In all fairness the answer depends on who the coach selects and is very subjective. For example if a top player was face guarded during season but still contributed she will get recognition, it's not necessarily who has the most points. Yellow cards could come into play, and remember there is honorable mention, scholar athlete, unsung hero, and if you're a GC team All American. Rarely does it go to a discussion (meaning other coaches object at meeting) but it has happened. Meeting is today in Nassau
