Not really , Longwood has the best player on the field and all the Riverhead team kids care about is their own numbers. Riverhead team is full of a bunch of players who only care about themselves scoring goals . The coach plays a bunch of middle school kids who should have been left in middle school and it cost them their first playoff game and cut the seniors careers short, those middle school kids score some goals against bad teams but play zero defense.
this sounds like a parent whose older child was put on the bench behind younger kids. get over it, happens in every school. Can't have been all bad having those girls because if you mentioned Riverhead and Playoffs in the same sentence at the beginning of the year we would have all laughed. That's as bad a loss as a team can have, but I'd bet those same kids had something to do with those 8 wins. team game. win together lose together
That's the point Einstein , that team is a bunch of ball hogs who don't care if they win or not as long as they get their points, its not a team game to them.Stop pounding your chest about almost making the playoffs in the A division which is a complete joke your 8 wins came against the worst of the worst.If your team was in the B or C you would have had zero shot at making the playoffs. The reason you lost is because no one on that team (especially the middies) cares to run back and exert any energy to play defense so you have one kid essentially beat your "team".
