She will get recruited as a defender, especially if she is shutting down studs and taking charges. Defenders may not always be the first to catch the eye of recruiters, but they definitely are sought out to fill those D spots. I do agree with the prior poster. If she can play another position in addition, she is well rounded therefore more marketable. Best of luck to your daughter!
