Yes they did. We found that it didn't make the game more physical, as some expect. It actually helped ref hear any type of head contact, that would normally be missed in a crowd, resulting in a few more calls.
I asked a few of the players after the game what they thought of them, and they were all very positive about using it. They admitted it did take a bit getting used too, but over all they don't mind playing with it.
It will be interesting to see how many other teams accept it.
