See what each team has in the pipeline and on the roster before you commit.

And listen to the coaches. Is their sales pitch generic (just about their program) or did they actually see you play? Do they care about your kid personally and his specific needs as a student athlete?

Some coaches just cant refuse a recruit. Even if they already have 15 attackmen rostered. There is a reason why so many coaches are also admissions counselors. It's good for the school's bottom line.

And PS- Moving your kid to an "affiliated" club team will not improve his chances of playing in HS. But the affiliated coaches appreciate the donation.

Sounds you are saying MIAA coaches are not of good character , and have the best interests of these young men, Where have I heard that before.
