The Public v Private debate is not fair to either side. They play by different rules both on and off the field.
It is just silly to think a JV MIAA team would beat a top 20 public. That being said, many MIAA teams have juniors on the roster. Additionally, with the prevalent use of holdbacks (which I have no objection to at all), the age of the players would be similar.

Broadneck did beat DeMatha and Catonsville beat MSJ, both impressive wins by two teams that lost in the finals and semi-finals in the state tournament.
