Its all about the match ups and the style a team plays. Let's see how they do today against the Cards before we get too giddy about one game. My rivalry day picks for this afternoon:

CHC over Loyola: Home team wins. The Dons have lost too many times in a row to the Cards and can't get over the hump.
BL over SP: The Lake rebounds from hard fought loss to Loyola and Saturday and defeats the Crussies handily.
SG over MSJ: This is about finishing for the Cavs. They want to beat the Saints twice in a season as their true rivals.
SM over Severn: Severn has been inconsistent (especially defensively) but SM's wants a playoff rematch with SG.
Gilman over McD: Gilman has gotten much better over the season. They took SM to the matt and crushed SP. Upset: 10-9

Last week was the first time Phipps has ever beat SM, as a player or as a coach. Same for LD. Twice in one season would be really sweet for them. Wow.

They aren't guaranteed to be in the same half of the bracket. If Severn beats St. Mary's and Loyola beats Calvert Hall, it would be Loyola and SG in the 2 vs. 3 game assuming they both win their playoff games and reach the semis.
