It’s ok because it’s not against the rules and people can do what they want. Kids are held back for many reasons. Who are you to tell people what’s a legit reason and what’s not? You don’t know the WHY.
The u7, u9, u11 model should have never been changed. Every two years is fine when you know what you are getting yourself into. The graduation year model is not so good since you have parents holding their kids back for the sole purpose to do better in lax. Kids two years up, playing down is a joke, don’t care the kid can’t spell, or has zero attention span. Just because your kid has the mental intelligence of a child 2 plus years younger mean he should be playing organized club sports with them.
