Sad that SJC had to come in and humble the MIAA.
How did that chest pound feel this morning? Were you out of coffee? Had to get yourself pumped up somehow?
Just expressing what many of us think: MIAA overrated and that there’s better lax in Annapolis and DC. Baltimore will only “be back” when it starts boarding Canadians…
What conference does your “better “lax in annapolis” play in?
Well, no, of course Annapolis doesn’t have its own private school conference, just leads the MIAA-A and has one of the biggest surprises of the season in Severn…

However, in larger context, look at the great club teams our current high schoolers are playing in. Just five years ago, DC players travelled to play in Baltimore based club teams. An example is the senior Ohio State attackman (from Gonzaga), who travelled to Baltimore to play for the crabs. Now it’s much more common to see Baltimore area players coming to DC to play on Next Level, Madlax or DCE.

Been a seismic shift in the lacrosse world. Baltimore — and by association the MIAA — is no longer the center of the high school lacrosse universe.
So how many MIAA A conference championships have the Naptown-area schools won in total? Not a lot. One good year does not equal a seismic shift, brother. And MIAA is still more competitive top to bottom than WCAC. Hey
