I appreciate the insight on showcases. We are getting invited to them now and I'm wondering which ones are the biggest money grabs and which ones are worth while. Is it even worth the money for an incoming 9th grader to showcase?
That all depends on how much time and money you have. If you are asking if rising 9th graders are getting recruited, the answer is absolutely not. So you don’t need to attend them out of FOMO. But if you have the time and the money, these events are usually a great way to play against great competition and get coached up by college coaches.
