The idea that a person gets the job to coach because they are a teacher in the district is wrong. There are districts that the teachers have it in their contracts that they get priority for a coaching position over someone who is not a teacher in the district, this is a joke and in no way helps our girls, this should be changed. The better coach should get the job.
Good Luck and the classroom teacher that is WEAK for 30 years, can we replace him/her too?? not a chance!
