Here we go again bashing/making fun of new teams....Let's just say the Turtles WILL open some eyes this year. Good luck to all this year and enjoy the season with your respective teams.
Well, I'm sure they will have nice uniforms since they are backed by Lacrosse Unlimited, but I can't imagine them being highly competitive. They have a few average kids that came from other teams (Empire, Igloo, Warriors, etc...)that left because they didn't play. I think they will be OK, but saying they'll compete with everyone but Express and Bandits is the kind of statement that makes people want to put you in your place. Just play and keep the talking down. At least wait till you play a game. What tournaments will they be playing this fall?
Who said anything about competing against Express and Bandits?? If you can read, I said they will open some eyes this year. YES they will be competitive. Unless you know the kids/parents personally, how can you say the kids are average?? Changing teams doesn't equate to being mediocre. Maybe some, after the WSYL were tired of the BS of their team and organization. Yes, every team has it but, the kids are solid at every position. Yes, it is early to speculate, but the foundation is solid.
