Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Elle Moshier – Plymouth State University

Moshier was named the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week after totaling six goals and four assists for 10 points to lead the Panthers’ attack on their way to winning the 2023 LEC tournament title and being named the LEC Championship Most Outstanding Player. She went off for a season-high five goals in Plymouth State’s 11-10 overtime triumph over Western Connecticut State University in the title game, including burying the game-winner on a free position attempt 1:08 into the extra frame. This Saturday, Plymouth will take on No. 13 Trinity College in the first round of the NCAA DIII Championship.

Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Grace Osborn – Capital University

Grace led Capital to their second consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship as the first-ever non-No.1 seed to win the tournament! She recorded six goals, three assists, two ground balls, one caused turnover and three draw controls against John Carroll University in the semifinal before exploding for 13 goals, two assists, and 12 draws in the title game over the University of Mount Union. Her 15 points against the Raiders is a new Capital single-game record, while her 13 goals tied her own single-game record. Osborn also crossed the 225-career goal mark, now standing at 228 goals in just 35 games. She has now earned IWLCA honors twice this season. Capital is set to take on Transylvania University in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Defensive Player of the Week

Caroline O’Dea – Denison University

O'Dea was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament MVP after finishing with 13 saves and a .619 save percentage in a 14-8 title win over undefeated No. 21-ranked Kenyon College. She made six saves in the third quarter alone and kept Kenyon from tying the game until Denison scored three goals in the final two minutes of the third quarter. O'Dea had a combined 24 saves and 15 goals allowed (.615 save percentage; 7.50 goals-against average), while playing all 120 minutes in the tournament en route to being named the MVP. The Big Red will take on Hope College on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
