Offensive Player of the Week

Cassidy Weeks – Boston College

Weeks delivered the game-winning goal with 12 seconds left, completing a four-goal comeback to help lead No. 7 Boston to a 12-11 road win over No. 8 Notre Dame. She recorded a total of three points (two goals, one assist), three draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the matchup.

Defensive Player of the Week

Abby Bosco – University of Maryland

Bosco’s all-around game helped lead No. 10 Maryland to a pair of wins over Johns Hopkins University and Ohio State University, totaling six groundballs, seven caused turnovers, and 11 draw controls over the two matchups. Against Ohio State, she tallied seven draw controls, four groundballs, and four caused turnovers, all game-highs, while holding Ohio State to just seven goals and 16 shots. She caused a game-high three turnovers, won four draw controls, and picked up two groundballs against Johns Hopkins. Her defensive presence helped hold Johns Hopkins to only one goal over the final eight minutes of the game to help the Terps comeback from down 11-10. Bosco currently ranks second in the Big Ten Conference in caused turnovers (31) and third in groundballs (34) on the season.
