Let's talk about Colgate and how unhealthy the majority of the programs are. Let's talk about the NCAA not really having our daughter's back. Let's talk about how afraid our competitive daughters are to say something in fear of retaliation by the coach...less playing time, or no playing time. The head games of holding back equipment and gear. The promise of extra money during recruiting and then there not be any money left because you didn't get it in writing and you are at the mercy of the coach? How about Morgan's Message yet it's the coach and their non motivating "talks". Where are the sensitivity classes for all coaches? Does the NCAA have requirements for coaches and how to handle situations? How about the NCAA NOT PROTECTING OUR DAUGHTERS AGAINST SEXUAL PREDATORS IN THE LOCKER ROOM because a MALE with his genitals identifies as a woman? When are we really going to have frank and open conversations about these issues? We all make believe OMG they are playing D1 it's all wonderful?
The Colgate situation is toxic. Let's talk about the coach and her record. First year (covid) 2020 with an inherited roster 3-4 .429 win percentage. Second year 2021 95% inherited roster 5-6 .455 win percentage. Third year 6-12 2022 30% her recruits 6-12 .333 win percentage. This year 2023 90% her recruits 2-8 .20 win percentage. Overall 16-30 35% wins, not a stellar performance by KT & staff. With all of the complaints against this coach why would Colgate keep this coach?
