Not a lot of injuries and kids will learn honesty, integrity, and how to be responsible for their own actions/score. Hit it, add em up and see how you did. There are many public facilities today for practice and play that are affordable. It's not just a "rich man's sport. One thing statistically-FACT: kids that play golf get in a lot less trouble in school and out, than kids that play team sports. Not going to expound on why, it is what it is. BTW-have a daughter? Get her to break 80 and see how many scholarships are available for Girls golf.
