The issue is the lack of D talent at this level, no kids have been able to stop the Big Lefty on Express nor the Little Lefty on WP. Those 2 are top talent at this grade level and at this age most teams have their weaker kids playing defense.
It has nothing to do with weaker kids jackwagon. Defense is very difficult due to the concept of slides and team defense. Most teams focus on offense passing and scoring. You can't have just 3 kids back there that know the slides and how to play defense. You need 7 kids all on the same page playing team defense. It's difficult at every level and it's practiced a lot more then it is at the 5th grade lacrosse.
