1.5 mile run in under 12 min
7.2 foot broad jump
Shuttle run I forgot the number

Google search NYS Athletic Maturation test. there is a lot that goes into the process & the physical test is no joke. Each sport has specific standards (boys & girls). There are AD, Coach, Doctor & parent application/permission forms. ALL involved must be on the same page. It is not about a pushy parent not caring about the safety of their child. If an athlete is as good AND has the physical maturation of older athletes it is to his/her benefit to play on the older team. Some school districts do not allow it, others do. Some school districts have stronger teams & the younger athlete does not match up, some kids are just that good that they can match up. Every school district/athlete situation is different.
