Hard to argue with you. Sometimes it is good for teams to see the other side of the scoreboard and perspective. GC and McDonogh are just not in the same league. That was clear. SA supposedly had the most talent in the country with all these recruits. BM was not remotely expected to be able to play with them. SA jumped out to a 3 - 1 lead just like last year against McDonogh. Then BM applied pressure and that was it. A repeat of last year. They scored 11 straight goals which almost seems impossible. SA coaches and team had no idea what to do. BM showed everyone what a good team is all about. Before Saturday, wanted to see a McDonogh vs SA rematch but thankfully that did not occur. Hauppauge looked great the first game then had to play McDonogh. McDonogh took them out of their game from the first whistle. Not sure if GC has ever lost more than 4 games in a year including playoffs. They have two now and have a long way to go and play SA in a week. Hopefully, they do this again next year, it was a great event. McDonogh and BM were both very good and have to give credit to them.
