Where can I find the seedings and playoff brackets for Nassua? any help would be appreciated. newsday doesnt combine divisions come playoff time
The playoff seeding for Nassau will be based on the final standings. The structure of the Section VIII playoffs is slightly different from the Section XI playoffs.
In Class A (Conference 1), the top eight teams are seeded with 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, and 4 vs. 5.
In Class B (Conference 2/3), there are four top seeds that will receive a first round bye with the next eight seeds (5 through 12) playing in the opening round.
In Class C (Conference 4), six teams will make the post season. The top two seeds will have an opening round bye with the next four seeds (3 through 6) playing in the opening round.
