Signing a waiver does not mean you can’t sue a club. If the club is not adhering to or violating state laws or guidelines and your kid gets sick...then you have a right to sue. If the club is operating within state guidelines, you sign a waiver and your kids gets sick...then it will be tough to sue. Signing a waiver does not release a club from all of their responsibilities to follow state and local laws, bylaws and guidelines. The US and NY state is still in a state of emergency enacted by the president and governor respectively.
