Signing a waiver does not mean you can’t sue a club. If the club is not adhering to or violating state laws or guidelines and your kid gets sick...then you have a right to sue. If the club is operating within state guidelines, you sign a waiver and your kids gets sick...then it will be tough to sue. Signing a waiver does not release a club from all of their responsibilities to follow state and local laws, bylaws and guidelines. The US and NY state is still in a state of emergency enacted by the president and governor respectively.
oh my god.. you people are painful.. If you are so frightened, keep your son out of action.. Spend the rest of the summer in a bunker.
The rest of us will accept the (minuscule) risk and get on with life..
