22-24 is good. Why wouldnt any of those "A" teamers standing around just play B? Does it really make a difference? Just sayin...

Can’t explain it, but it is the parents making a really poor decision for their son, imho. Lax intervention time, if your son doesn’t play, other than blowouts, he wouldn’t have made the team. Move on. Go to a team and be a top player, who cares if that team will never beat 91, Express or Igloo.
