let me guess, United parent. if Express and Igloo aren't elite teams in this age bracket, no one is.
United in hiding, (who have they played on LI this fall?), Smash in denial, (it was a gift, we rested out top players, we could be co-champs & don't have to play the final game). Foundation showing cracks. Parents in panic mode.
we haven't seen United but we have seen their coach scouting games this fall. Just play already. At least the other teams are playing each other. Win or lose.
Fun theatre, but the boys are more entertaining to watch. Would be nice to see the parents stfu, and just enjoy the games.
I know it's a stretch, but can you imagine a world where LI teams actually applauded each other?! GO ON!
Scouting 11 year old lacrosse?! Somebody needs a little perspective....
Yup! Such an obsession on winning it's sad. How about teach the boys to respect their teammates, opponents and the game and make sure they are enjoying it. Do that and everything will be fine when these boys move on to the school level. And don't get me wrong, these teams are built to win, but scouting is completely ridiculous, in my opinion. It would stand to reason that if a coach is available to scout, you're available to bring the team down and play. Better than going out of state vs soft competition.
