Igloo won the national championship by playing all 21 kids in the game like they always do. They don't roster 30 kids and decide who will play in a tournament and also do not keep players on field for 80 percent of semi-final game. All contribute to wins. True team effort.


Spoken like the parent of an igloo player who might be cut next year. Igloo like any other competitive team plays their top 12 field players 80% of the time. And the coaches know the top player, the top 3, top 10...they know the weakest players also and throughout the season they discuss this and at the end of the season they will discuss upgrading 2-4 players. A kid may get equal playing time over the course of a tournament where some games are 12-0 but in the finals or in games that count you can bet the weakest 8 kids will be riding the bench.
