I read "showcase" above. And unfortunately, my son's team is playing. But I still KNOW it is a money grab! And as your son gets older you will see that many showcases do have playoffs.
Why is it unfortunate that your son is playing in a tournament against some of the top teams in the country? Are you holding out for the 6th grade tournaments with college coaches attending? You make no sense. All tournaments are money grabs. The term typically applies to a tournament where nothing is gained by attending.
Please enlighten us...What tournaments are more worthwhile for your 6th grader than the NLF Summer Tournament?
