Good for the Mid-Atlantic Spring League.

If it's a grade based tournament, you simply should not be able to play with a kid in an older grade, regardless of age (without a waiver).

PS - I think it's crazy - generally - to reclass to repeat 7th grade. No problem with that kid that age going into a younger grade as a 4-5 year old. Sad that it makes sense lacrosse-wise. Look at the registrations for Summer Exposure and it's incredible how many 2021 teams can't qualify for the U12 (U13B) division or 2018 teams can't qualify for U15.

PPS - I think it's BS that [lacrosse]'s is moving from an 8/1 cutoff date to a 6/1 cutoff date. That means, in December 2016, I could add one of my former 2020's to my U13/2021 team. He's already a total man among boys at age 12. At age 14 in the Fall of his 9th grade year, he'll be probably starting his second season of playing HS football, basketball and lacrosse. That's insane.
