For Long Island the only team that applies for is Igloo. After that it does not matter which team you are on. Just make sure you tryout for a team that practices a lot. I see far too many teams charging $1500 to $2000 and even more that guarantee less then 20 practices. Stay away from those teams that won't assure you the number of practices needed to get better.

Possibly because of the exposure that the World Series of Youth Lacrosse just had - a game on ESPN2. 2021 teams will be competing to go to Denver in 2016 to participate, provided they win whatever qualifier tournaments they set up. Given this exposure and experience there is no doubt recruiting is on this grade's radar.
