Be careful what you wish for, A strong spring club league will decimate the PAL and Town leagues.

Down here in MD the club league is run by Howard County which is right in the middle of Baltimore, DC/VA and Annapolis. Pretty much 30 minutes from anywhere. Even teams from PA come down. All games are in Howard co and they turf fields like Starbucks. One on every corner. So all games are turf with someone that runs lighted score board with penalty time. The whole works. Coaches/directors don;t hacve to worry about scheduling fields, refs etc. you just show up which is great

Downside is that many of clubs have switched from summer club to full time. Rec lacrosse is now just C players and the kids with parents can't or won't drop $1000-$3000/yr for lacrosse.
Club lacrosse is for any kid who wants to join a team and as parents willing to pay 10 to 20 times what they did for rec. Often the same coach too
