The rebel’s selected few kids for each age groups after there “pretryout camp”. So essentially it was tryout to get the best kids before they went to other clubs
It was a pretryout camp, but they said ahead of time they may select some kids from it after. So if there were some exxeptional kids then they were selected early. That doesnt mean at the actual tryouts, kids who were at the pretryout wont be selected. Just that evaluations on who to select need to be made at that point assessing the skills of all the kids who tryout.
