Huge false story line. No one pays full boat. The only people who mention tuition costs have probably not applied to private school.

I have 2 kids. Oldest went to Fallston, the younger went to private. Both good experiences. But my youngest was REALLY challenged academically at private school.

I won’t say where my second kid went to stay out of the fray, but JC, LB and CH all offered us good aid packages.
We chose one of those and it was money well spent. Great advisement and high-end college-prep academics. But I will add- sciences were tougher in public, whereas fine arts and math was harder at private. I liked that my kids were getting the religious side too.
