That attitude will not get you a D1 invite. Play at best school you can, push yourself , get noticed, college is where you can worry about making friends and having a good time.

This isn't basketball or football where they basically own you and you can't take a serious major. If you doubt me, pull every D1 (no not Ivies or Schools not giving 100% scholarships to almost their whole traveling roster) football and basketball roster and look at their majors. How many engineering or pre-med majors do you see? Maybe a couple of finance majors but that's about it. Unless you go to one of the Academies or have a fully funded scholarship to a Patriot League program, you're going to be "pushed" into a bull garbage major so you can lift weights, run and do your position specific drills. D1 lacrosse, only a handful get over 50% of tuition and room and board so for the rest of you, its lower percentages. That being said 20-35% of a Duke tuition is nothing to sneeze at....
