Wantagh has needed a new coach for over 10 years...to me always one of the most talented but nothing at the helm...
The team that needs a new coach is Farmingdale. The game isn't the same now as it was in the 60's when the coach started and it has passed him by. Last year 11 players quit the Varsity team in the middle of the season because of abuse by an assistant who still has the job. About 5 of those 11 were starters too. Great Farmingdale alums coaching all over the island and at the college level yet the HS is stuck with these guys.
