Here’s the problem. There are no rules to be broken because, effectively, there are no rules. And if there ever were rules it wouldnt matter because there is no governing body to enforce any rules except for the clubs that run the tournaments who are the reason there are no rules. There will always be completely unethical teams like Madlax until there is a governing body over youth lacrosse. To date, there is none. The result: complete chaos. Imagine our society without a government that establishes rule/laws and law enforcement to enforce those laws. There would be a lot of “Madlax’s” out there destroying our society if there weren’t laws and police to enforce them. But that is exactly what we have in club youth lacrosse. The Wild Wild West of lacrosse. No governing body to make the rules and no law enforcement agency to enforce the laws.
