Also, please keep loosing your cool on the sidelines. It's great to see how the LI parents' constant yelling cause their boys to focus less on the game and more on the "injustice" of playing a team with some boys with Summer birthdays. (Yes, that is the fact.) The LI parents constantly cost their teams close games. If you all stayed quiet and just yelled positive support, your teams might not be mentally beat so much.

Also, if you pay your coaches to coach, why do you coach your sons' from the sidelines? Shouldn't the boys learn to listen to their coaches and make their own decisions on the field. Daddy yelling "slide" and "drive" is not helpful.

I also think it is sad that the parents and kids feel "burn out" in 7th grade. Or, we have accomplished all "we" felt we needed to at WSYL and did not want to play in the NLF?? If your kids are burned out or feel satisfied with 7th grade accomplishments then that should be a concern. This current trend of year round high level high pressure youth sports is still a new trend maybe 15 years old?? I would be afraid of the "peaked in 7th grade" effect.
