I have a good one about "all-star" teams. There was a tournament earlier this summer in MD. And one player (a coaches son) didn't play in a game and a half (out of 3 games) because he was hurt. When the all-star roster was announced his name wasn't on it, which I am sure made his dad's head explode. Well amazingly, he ended up playing in that all-star game. Not sure what is more interesting:
1. That he made the team and didn't play in the games
2. That he was well enough to represent himself, but couldn't play to help his team
3. That he wasn't even on the list and played
