We need to look at a bigger sample size then just you and your buddy. I'm thinking your statement about so little depends on what school you go to is a little off. why wouldn't everybody go to an average school and have fun and own a 7 million dollar home vs going to an ivy and killing themselves only to be a doctor and have to get up early.
My brother went to Cornell, I went to Adelphi. I make twice his salary, and live very comfortably. Hek, I can even afford travel lax for 3 kids!
